Have you ever found yourself irritated by the slightest thing on a seemingly good day? And it’s that one little thing that shifts your mindset and gears you up for a day full of negativity.

The next time this happens, stop yourself in mid-complaint, and purposely determine to consider all that is well in your life, and all that you are thankful for.  You can begin with the most basic things. I have even heard people start off by saying that they were thankful that they woke up this morning and the blood was still running warm in their veins, and they were still clothed in their right mind.  Now that’s getting down to basics, and being thankful simply because you are alive, and you can still think straight. As I see it, as long as you have those first two reasons to be thankful, it’s a good chance that you can turn everything else that’s wrong around. Even if you can’t, if you will start being grateful for what is right, instead of focusing on what is wrong, the mind shift that gratitude creates is quite powerful.

It has been found by experience that a person increases her blessings by being thankful for what she already has. Gratitude is a great magnet. You will find your attitude opening to greater peace, and gratitude puts you on the pathway to greater abundance.

The next time you are having a bad day, and you feel that nothing is going right, try shifting those mental gears, and try out the following affirmations:

I AM grateful.
I AM attracting good into my life.
I AM blessed.
My daily attitude is one of gratitude.
I AM seeing greatness all around me.
I AM feeling that I have a grateful heart.
I AM a magnet for good and for that good… I AM grateful.
I see abundance all around me. I AM grateful.
I AM filled with happiness and gratitude.
I AM learning each day to be grateful.
I just feel grateful each morning.
Abundance comes to me because I AM grateful.
I AM learning to appreciate all I have.
I AM grateful and thankful for all goodness God has given me.
I give thanks daily for blessings that flow into my life.
I am grateful for my health.
Some days I feel profound gratitude for all I AM and all I have.
I know gratitude is a daily choice and I choose to be grateful.

Drop us a line. How do YOU turn a bad day around? What things are you thankful for?

Be well, be happy, be blessed!
