I am just so proud of how my tomato plants are doing. I want to show you a before and current photo. I stood beside the tomato plants in the current photo. I wanted you to really see just how tall they have grown. Not the best photo of me, but HEY….I was gardening. It’s hard to look cute while you are sweating. *laughs*
We have green tomatoes on the vine. It won’t be long now and we will have tomato sandwiches!
While I am at it, I might as well show you my squash plants….
< That’s a pepper plant growing just in front of the squash.
And…. I am going to let ya see my cucumber vines too. *laughs*
Since this is turning into something like a home movie, I have a few more pictures to share with ya that were taken in the past week. Check out Grandpa sleeping on the job…

Last but not least, here’s a picture of my 27 year old son that I am trying hard to marry off. *laughs* Any interested single ladies out there?

I had one of my grandaughters spend the night with me on Saturday night, and to keep her happy and occupied, I asked her if she wanted to paint an old garden gnome that my son found in the woods this past Fall. I have let her handle the project totally on her own. She has picked out the colors for the gnomes new clothes, and has painted all by herself. I must admit, she is painting extremely well to be only 4 years old. This project not only serves to keep her happy and occupied, but it aids in boosting her self confidence, and quite possibly it will be the start of a life long talent. Too, she is also making memories at Granny’s house. I am going to show you a “before” and “after” picture of this gnome. Then you will be able to see what a great job she has done.

Holding the “before” image of our garden gnome is my oldest son,and my youngest daughter. Now, I will take you to my grandaughter who is hard at work to improve the gnome’s appearance.
And the final completed project….
And now the moment of truth…
I somehow managed to gain 5 pounds this week? May be water weight gain or may be too many Moon Pies. Who knows? :) Today is a new day.

I just love you and your family. I woke up first thing this morning, and as if Santa might have been, I came here to see the pictures! I was not disappointed. Thank you, “Santa.”
